Hi, I am Glenda Roberts

Clinical Psychologist

PS 0083801

I regard therapy as a sacred space, where it is important you feel free to talk about things that you maybe cannot in the social world, and explore difficulties and solutions without fear of judgement. I regard it a privilege to engage in this very personal journey with you and to be able to offer my experience and skills in helping you understand your difficulties, what it is you need and want, and to help you find, within yourself,  new ways of feeling, being, thinking and doing, that are life enhancing.

More about Glenda

I am constantly amazed at how solutions present themselves to human problems, when people are willing to trust themselves, and engage in the therapy process with honesty, openness and curiosity. People come to therapy to talk about what is wrong, but I also believe that it is important to explore and build on existing strengths, unique to you, in order to assist with presenting difficulties.  I have always been fascinated by the resilience of the human spirit and our capacity to overcome difficulties and to be able to grow and change. How we view ourselves, our challenges, others and the world is fundamental to how we experience life.

Challenging behavior occurs when the demands and expectations being placed upon a child outstrip the skills they have to respond
